  • balski balski says... Yeah I agree - only thing is there probably isnt that much they can do that wont compete with private firms.

  • Graham Graham says... I spent time in a maximum security prison filming a documentary about this. Some long term prisoners ARE trained to work in some very highly skilled jobs including manufacturing and engineering. The prison sells these services to businesses and makes a tidy profit. Inmates are earning their keep.
