David insists... Using NINE anti-terrorist police officers to raid an MP's house shows lack of any proportionality and makes me wonder whether some important and dangerous drug raid somewhere else in the country was 8 men short. Another shameful police blunder.

David is convinced... The police raid on Damian Green's house and parlimentary office make England look more like Zimbabwe than any of us should be comfortable with.

There is either gross police incompetence (and that wouldn't surprise me at all) or political interference in the oppositions job and using the police to disrupt and that would be truly freightening.

VSB insists... Murders like the Hannah Foster should be met with one sentence and the is life imprisonment and life should mean exactly that, until that person dies.

He gets 24 years...of which he'll serve? Then he's free to continue his life. He didn't give Hannah Foster that chance did he? We are far far too lenient on these type of scumbags.

The Phantom insists... That someone in the chain of responsibility regarding the Baby P case should face a long prison sentence. Negligence in this type of situation after issues have already been raised after the Victoria Climbie is simply not an option.

Someone at some stage must have seen clear signs of abuse (apparently is was extensive and over a prolonged period) and either done nothing or not reported it to the next level. The buck will stop with someone and in my opinion, they need to face a VERY stiff prison sentence. When abuse like this happens AFTER the Victoria Climbie case highlighted such serious flaws and seemingly not enough has been done to prevent it happening again, someone must pay and they must pay a high price.

Colin is convinced... black is the new white

What with Obama getting the top job, Hamilton getting the F1 championship and Doctor Who regenerating into a black man by 2010, there's no stopping the momentum. Shortly before the next UK election I predict Gordon Brown will change his name by deed poll to Gordon Black and win by a landslide. By 2020 the royal family will also be black and Prince "Buster" Charles will have installed 18" subs into his eco car.
