Biff wins

Biff thinks... children do not have enough free time to just play.

There are too many extra-curricular activities which over-tire them and make their lives one big rush. Once they've done their homework as well, where is the time for just mucking about ? I have limited my kids to swimming lessons plus one other and I still find it's a lot. Plus I need an evening to excersise, so does hubby. Some kids at school seem to be doing something every night and hence don't attend birthday parties or school bazaars etc. It is just wrong.

Cat of Schrodinger wins

Cat of Schrodinger reckons... that folk music lyrics can be pretty gruesome, when everyone thinks it's all morris dancers and diddly dee

This one's from the 18th century: 'Where's the Master of the house', says Long Lankin. 'He's asleep in the cradle ' says the nurse to him. So they pricked him and they pinched him and they stabbed him with a pin. And the false nurse held the basin, for the blood to run in.

David wins

David is convinced... Children can smell chocolate through concrete walls and can hear crisp packets opening from at least four miles away. They are bionic when it comes to junk food.

I have to act like a ninja when I want a snack and I know the kids aren't allowed one!

mack mama thinks... identical twins are such head turners

It is so amazing to me that 2 people can look exactly the same. Everytime I see identical twins, I have to look.

Chuck55 loses

Chuck55 is sure... Most parents are bad parents.

I rarely see a happy family at the mall or park. Always arguing, shouting etc. This makes me think that actually most parents don't know how to raise their kids well.

Millie wins

Millie believes... Parents should behave like parents and make the decisions rather than giving their kids so much choice.

In this country we seem to have forgotten that it is the parents role to make the decisions. Giving children as young as 3 or 4 so many choices is a nonsense. They are not old enough to make proper decisions. You have the rest of your life to make them. Also, giving them so many choices makes them demanding and often unhappy when you do make a decision. Life would be a lot easier if parents took back control, and maybe we wouldn't have so many problems with the youth of today if this was the case. They are too used to getting their own way.

steve wins

steve thinks... The "Fathers 4 Justice" organisation is correct in it's assertion that the role of a father is severely undervalued by the courts and british society in general

I think society looks upon fathers as some sort of optional extra to help around the house and bring a bit of extra money. In my opinion the role of a father, particularly to his son is more important than we give credit.
I am not a dad but I'm lucky enough to have one.
