David thinks... John Seargent was right to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing. The public were voting to punish the unecessarily nasty judges but were actually punishing the other contestants as a result.

balski says... I agree = he did the right thing for the show - if he had stayed in and won- that would be the end of strictly - you wouldnt get future contestants entering and perversely the public would lose interest cos it wasnt based on talent and entertainment in that sense.

KTB says... I think John was put in a ridiculous position by the voters who love an underdog but had no sense. It was one thing when it was just no hopers getting knocked out but a different matter entirely when good dancers like Cheri went. As the man himself said the joy went out of winning then.

Colin reckons... the amount of swearing on TV and radio is unnecessary

I'm no shrinking violet who feels the need to write to his MP if the tabloids tell me that a popular entertainer has used a rude word. I go to a lot of football matches where I hear language that would make Cynthia Payne blush. But there's a time a place for that sort of thing. I mean if you go about your daily life using the F and C words as often as certain TV cooks people would think of you as either an ASBOtard or a sufferer of tourette's syndrome. It makes you sound like a moron so why do these supposedly intelligent broadcasters thing it's OK? Bunch of *%$£ing vv@nkers that's why.

Barry thinks... that the BBC will not dare bring Jonathan Ross back on air. He has blown it for good now that the silent majority has expressed its disgust at the way the BBC has dumbed down too much of its output.

Matola says... Barry - you should refuse to pay your tv license fee - apparently BBC aren't prosecuting for fear of people being made into martyrs. Allegedly Noel Edmonds refuses to pay his, without any repurcussions. If they don't come and get you, then I might try it too.

Vicky D insists... No way should Laura OR Ruth Lorenzo have been in the bottom two of X Factor this week! Daniel Evans was weaker, JLS we much weaker and Rachael Hylton barely got one note right! What is going on?!?!?!

dewolfe thinks... That apart from the girls, the rest of the acts on X Factor are pretty lame.

No one apart from the four girls are any good. The Blonde one has a great, quirky sound, the Spanish girl and the other brunette have great ‘belter’ voices while the black girl (the one with out attitude) has a great voice and has great showmanship. The band is rubbish as are the rest of the boy singers.

Cindarella believes... Simon Cowell is the best mentor on X Factor, by miles.

He might not always be the show winner but his opinion really counts and he will always do the best for his contestants. He's got the experience to know what works and what doesn't.

The Phantom wins

The Phantom is convinced... Louis Walsh was completely wrong about Austin Drage on Ep2 of the live x factor show. The arrangement of Billie Jean was superb and Austin sang it amazingly well. One of the best performances of week 2

Louis walsh is on another planet most of the time.
