David thinks... John Seargent was right to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing. The public were voting to punish the unecessarily nasty judges but were actually punishing the other contestants as a result.

It was one thing when it was just no hopers getting knocked out but a different matter entirely when good dancers like Cheri went. As the man himself said the joy went out of winning then.

I agree no job at the end but you have a bunch of people who have worked extremely hard to do this competition and so to have it biased for things outside of the contestants control isn't right. I'm hoping it's a good lesson to the judges/program makers that the general public are getting

dewolfe believes... That if the BNP have to keep their members secret, then they know that they're narrow minded and racist and that their views belong back in the medieval ages.

Why else would they have to be kept secret - they obviously know they're doing something wrong. If you're scared or ashamed to say that you belong to the BNP party, then you should re evaluate your bigoted views!

• Graham says... I spent time in a maximum security prison filming a documentary about this. Some long term prisoners ARE trained to work in some very highly skilled jobs including manufacturing and engineering. The prison sells these services to businesses and makes a tidy profit. Inmates are earning their keep.

The Phantom insists... That someone in the chain of responsibility regarding the Baby P case should face a long prison sentence. Negligence in this type of situation after issues have already been raised after the Victoria Climbie is simply not an option.

Someone at some stage must have seen clear signs of abuse (apparently is was extensive and over a prolonged period) and either done nothing or not reported it to the next level. The buck will stop with someone and in my opinion, they need to face a VERY stiff prison sentence. When abuse like this happens AFTER the Victoria Climbie case highlighted such serious flaws and seemingly not enough has been done to prevent it happening again, someone must pay and they must pay a high price.

Colin reckons... the amount of swearing on TV and radio is unnecessary

I'm no shrinking violet who feels the need to write to his MP if the tabloids tell me that a popular entertainer has used a rude word. I go to a lot of football matches where I hear language that would make Cynthia Payne blush. But there's a time a place for that sort of thing. I mean if you go about your daily life using the F and C words as often as certain TV cooks people would think of you as either an ASBOtard or a sufferer of tourette's syndrome. It makes you sound like a moron so why do these supposedly intelligent broadcasters thing it's OK? Bunch of *%$£ing vv@nkers that's why.

Vicky D insists... No way should Laura OR Ruth Lorenzo have been in the bottom two of X Factor this week! Daniel Evans was weaker, JLS we much weaker and Rachael Hylton barely got one note right! What is going on?!?!?!
